Teacher Grants

Big Spring teachers can apply for Bulldog Foundation grants that fund classroom projects the district budget does not cover.

Grants align to the district’s three goals for students: engagement, well-being, and academic growth. Grants are awarded up to $300 each. Recent grants have paid for classroom and library books, STEAM kits, 3D printer filament, cooking lab supplies, OSHA-10 safety certifications, water-quality testing gear, kindergarten learning centers, and hands-on history programs in all five district schools.

How to apply

The application asks for your building, your department or grade, a project title, the district goal your project supports, how current and future students benefit, and how you will use the funds. Applications are accepted each spring; the board votes in early summer and notifies recipients before the school year begins.

Apply with the form below. Have your itemized budget ready before you start; the form does not save a draft. Questions: Mary Beth Weaver, teacher grants chair, at info@bigspringbulldogfoundation.com.
